LEAVIN' IT

BEHIND!!

Surgery on October 14 to remove Port
YIPEE!!

School kids

What can I say . . . they're growing up! I have told Matti we will be celebrating her un-tenth birthday. She doesn't think I am funny.

Fish Lake #1

Our FISH LAKE trip happened the weekend before school started (that would make it August, right?!?!?) Jed and Jamie invited us down to go camping with them. We had a really good time and can't wait to do it again! The boys rented a boat and took the kids out for hours. It was nice :)

The CREW! - Matti, Cason (ya, we copied them), SeOnna, Jorgen, Stetson,

Kase, Trey, Kael, John
The "All-Knowing" Fishermen . . .

"Now what should we try?" "The big one got away"

I really had a good time on the boat, very relaxing and plenty of room.

Trey showing off his catch . . . or someone else's!!

Beautiful views!

Camp. We actually camped about 20 minutes from the Lake. The kids had a BLAST on the 4 wheeler and Rhino.

View from camp.

Matti and SeOnna are the only girls in their families. They love getting together to do GIRL things. SeOnna taught Matti how to make flower arrangements.

We took a Rhino ride. Gotta get us one of those (are you hearing this Santa?)! We all strapped in and took a two hour ride. No complaining. I could get use to it!

Of course we had to stop for a photo op!

After dinner Jed and Jamie, & Matt and I took a Rhino ride. Stetson was nice enough to babysit :) Great times. Great memories. Great friends.

'Nuff said!

Our gracious hosts - Jed and Jamie!

To keep in the spirit of finding wierd, random tree carvings that apply

to our family, we ran on to this one. I love you MATT!

We got up early Sunday morning to make it off the mountain in time for church. We did such a good job and even got there a little early. Half of the power was out to the church (however that happens). They carried on and we listened to Stetson play the rest hymn - he's awesome! After Sacrament we headed for home. Just before Nephi a tire on the trailer blew. In Layton it was raining and the windshield wiper blew off. But, we made it home safe!! Whew! What a BLAST!

a WINnERNET party

It's a PARTY!!

. . . and EVERYONE is INVITED!!!

Kael is down to the last 10 days of chemo. In his honor/celebration, we are asking everyone to have a ROOT BEER FLOAT on Friday, October 22nd. It doesn't matter if you have one for BREAKFAST, LUNCH, or DINNER - just have one!!! So many of you have played a BIG role in helping our little KAEL-BELL recover and KICK cancer. There is no possible way to bring family and friends from Mississippi, California, Idaho, Missouri, Alaska, Texas, Kentucky, Colorado, Maryland, Arizona, Nevada, or even NewCastle for this big MILESTONE (although I wish we could) so I thought maybe this could bring us all together in some small way! BUT WAIT . . . here is the catch . . . You have to email me, text me, comment on here, or leave a message on my facebook page (basically, I don't care how you let me know, just let me know) so I can keep track of everyone participating (and put it in his keepsake book). If you document it with a picture and want to send that too, that would be AWESOME!!!

And there you have it . . . my very first WINnERNET party!!

Please join us :)

Kael is having surgery on Thursday to have his port removed. I am nervous about having it removed so quickly but the Dr. says it is best. (This pic was taken after waking up from surgery to have the broviac removed and the port placed.)

{Sigh . . . }

Another chapter written in this boys book of life :)

THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!
