RELAY 2010

We had another great year at Relay!! There are so many people to THANK!
I have to throw a special THANK YOU to my SIL, Rikki. She kept telling me to give her an assignment so she ended up with the biggest one - T-Shirts!! She designed them and then ironed them all on. She did awesome and I am so happy with the final product!! Thanks Rik!
My friend Holly provided the vinyl for the T-shirts, flag, and sign. Check out her website vinylizeit.com. Again, they turned out awesome!
My sisters for decorations and craft items to sell! We sold over $200.00 worth of product.
Good friends Eric and Shalise for throwing together the Snow Cone machine at the last minute. It was a hit . . . especially with the younger generation Relay-ers!
Of course it would never happen without the love and support of Matt's family! and this year my family got a taste of what Relay is all about! I am so grateful for both families and the effort they put forth to support us. I love you all!!
I was lucky enough to have good friends from here in Cornish Relay with us this year. Both families have been affected by Cancer and it was great to have them come and experience it all with us. They were also great help with the Yard Sale. I couldn't have done it without them!
I am not going to keep listing everyone because I am sure to leave someone out. Just know I truly appreciate everyone's hard work and support. We would not Relay if we didn't have such great help!
Opening Ceremony
Kael looking on and his friend Taylie holding the banner. Taylie lived a few homes down from us in Richmond and was diagnosed last year with AML. Our families have grown closer through this fight and we loved being able to Relay with them this year!

Uncle Wade enjoying a Monster (energy drink) before he pulled an all-nighter. Yes he is asleep in this pic but he woke up a half-hour later and walked all night in his Cowboy Boots. What a STUD! Love you Masters :)

Brit and Matti on their way to bed. I am proud of them! They stayed up until 1:30 and did quite a bit of walking!

Decorations and Craft Table. Thanks Sisters:)

My Little Hero!

The Adult T-shirts have a bucking horse on them and say "Kick Cancer"

The little kids shirts had all the cousins on them and at the top said "Kael's Cousins"

Kael's said "I'm Kael"

Camp in the shade. You can see our tents in the background. I think we had the best spot! (The only one with natural shade anyway)

Kase all tuckered out!

A portion of our team at closing ceremonies!

THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE FOR MAKING RELAY 2010 SUCCESSFUL!!

fyi: WE RAISED OVER $1900.

The whole event raised over $70,000 for Cancer Research!

Most, if not all, of the money will stay here in Utah at our own Primary Children's and Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Thanks for the plug Lena! I'm so glad Rikki helped-that was a big job! I do still have your other vinyl here. Someday if you want to drop off the shirts I could iron them on for you.

You are the greatest and the most ambitious person I know. Good Job on the relay for life. Looks like you guys did well and had a lot of fun. Every year I say I am coming but dont make it there. Summer is crazy.
