We met up with one of Matt's mission comps, Elder McAdams, after our meal at the Golden Arches. It was fun to hear them reminisce!! We walked back through some of the places we had already been earlier today and then tried some authentic Lithuanian food. It was actually good and the kids even tried it without much arm twisting!!
There was construction going on in a section of the sidewalk that we had to detour around. We passed by it a few times today and noticed a deep trench was taking up half of the detour sidewalk. It wasn't marked with orange cones or huge flags and yellow tape, it was just there. We commented on how that wouldn't fly in the states. On the way back (it was dark by then) there were three college aged kids riding bikes. They went passed us just before we got to the detour. All the sudden we heard crashing noises and language . . . language only Matt understood. Luckily he was ok . . . at least he got up and rode off . . . we laughed for a while over it!
